Welcome to Women in Aviation International Valley of the Sun Chapter Arizona State University - Polytechnic Campus 7442 East Tillman Avenue Mesa, Arizona 85212   Women in Aviation, Valley of the Sun Chapter was established as an organization at Arizona State University in 1999. The organization is a chapter of the International organization that was formally established in 1994. As a nonprofit organization, we are dedicated to the encouragement and advancement of women in all aviation career fields. Women in Aviation International has over 4,300 members in an array of aviation fields such as astronauts, corporate pilots, maintenance technicians, air traffic controllers, business owners, educators, journalists, flight attendants, high school and university students, airshow performers, airport managers and others. With such diverse backgrounds, the organization is a success in offering assistance to everyone interested in aviation.
